In April, NRAA brings you the timely topic of depression in ESRD patients. For payment year 2018 depression screening and follow-up reporting measures are now being required. Dialysis professionals need to know how this measure is incorporated into ESRD QIP. Speakers Celeste Bostic, MIM RN BSN and Delia Houseal PhD, MPH of CMS' Center for Clinical Standards and Quality will share their expertise by discussing the importance of screening and treatment for clinical depression in ESRD beneficiaries, explaining the follow up reporting measure, and summarizing criteria for evaluating screening tools.
